When our mission is complete, Historic Albany Theatre will host a range of diverse entertainment including opera, jazz, country, classical, Broadway plays and musicals, the blues, children’s programming, local talents, symphonies and other entertainment. Historic Albany Theatre will be a multiuse performing arts and conference center. Her gallery and balcony will drape as a premium supper club and skybox viewing area for auditorium events.

She will also provide Southwest Georgia with a much needed mid-sized theatre that can accommodate large shows and also serve as an educational resource for students. Historic Albany Theatre will humbly and gracefully and collaboratively compliment nearby community facilities. Above all, this theatre will serve as a link to preserve and rebuild the Albany community’s past while sharing the vision of a brighter future.
Now you can become a part of Historic Albany Theatre’s history in the making by having a newly designed auditorium seat dedicated in your name. Approximately 85% of the auditorium’s seats will be available for dedication. For a donation of $350.00, your name will be engraved on a small plaque, which will be permanently attached to the seat of your choice. You will be able to visit the theatre prior to our opening and choose from locations in the main auditorium and the balcony.
Whether you choose to make your donation in your name, a friend’s name, a loved one, relative, business associate, church or civic organization, you will be able to point with pride to your piece of Historic Albany Theatre history. An Auditorium seat dedication is a fabulous way to mark a birth, marriage, graduation, anniversary or a special moment in history.
